Job Title: Assistant Professor, Computer Science & Engineering

Job Description:

KMCT-IETM is seeking a dynamic and qualified individual for the position of Assistant Professor in Computer Science & Engineering. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching undergraduate courses in the areas of Database Management System, Operating System, Operating System Labs, and other core/elective courses in Computer Science and Engineering. The faculty member is expected to join no later than the first week of January 2024.

Qualifications:

  • Mtech in Computer Science & Engineering or a related field.
  • Proven experience in teaching Database Management System, Operating System, and related courses at the undergraduate level.
  • Strong academic background with a record of research and publications.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively engage students in the learning process.
  • Demonstrated talent for innovative teaching methods and curriculum development beyond the University syllabus.
  • Ability to contribute to the academic community through research and professional growth.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct lectures, seminars, and labs for undergraduate students in Computer Science, Artificial intelligence, and Cyber Security.
  • Develop and implement innovative teaching methods to enhance student learning.
  • Contribute to curriculum development and stay updated with industry trends.
  • Engage in research activities and publish in reputable journals and conferences.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to foster a positive academic environment.
